The Custodian’s Lexicon
Commoner
Anyone not yet involved in Authentic You.
Emissary
Those who open the gates.
A warm lead, champion, or decision-maker who carries the Emissary’s Dossier into their organisation.
They “sell” Authentic You from the inside and act as keyholders.
Pilgrim
Those who have secured a place as participants in Authentic You.
Their journey begins with the Pilgrim’s Decree and unfolds across {REDACTED} and {REDACTED}
Modern Custodian
Dual meaning:
The brand itself (the banner under which this work lives).
The title given to participants once they complete the Game of Reflections.
Authentic You (AY)
The flagship experience.
Structured in three chapters:
{REDACTED} (naming)
{REDACTED} (quests on Country)
{REDACTED} (return & offering)
The aim: move people from Performative You → Authentic You.
The Game of Reflections
The name of the Main Quest within Authentic You.
Its purpose: to reveal Authentic You through play, presence, and walking with Country.
The Main Quest
The overarching challenge that frames the whole experience:

Quest Logs
Individual envelopes/scrolls given to Pilgrims.
Contain main quests, personal quests, and optional side quests.
Designed to spark play, reflection, and movement on Country.
Scroll of Remembrance
A final quest given after {REDACTED}.
Ensures participants return to Country and can reawaken their spark later.
Functions both as a continuation and an organic way of {REDACTED}{REDACTED}
Completion Certificate
Presented at the end of Authentic You.
Looks familiar (like a corporate cert) but is infused with quest flavour.
Prompts participants to seek their loot (Modern Custodian Banner) and builds kinship.
Modern Custodian Banner
Loot unlocked upon completion.
A digital artefact participants can “fly” — a posture and a declaration of kinship.
Carries the hidden lore of the {REDACTED}
Sacred Sigil
The single symbol of Authentic You.
The feather of the Koorlbardi (magpie), who sings the day into being.
Reserved only for Authentic You; not to be used elsewhere.
Reflections & {REDACTED}
Archetypal identities participants encounter through the Game of Reflections.
Reflections = their true strengths, aligned with presence.

Kin
The community of Modern Custodians.
Formed when participants complete the Game of Reflections and carry the work beyond the workshop.
The Labyrinth (you’re in it now)
The Labyrinth is the living lore of Modern Custodian. To step into it is to cross a threshold — every touchpoint, from liking a post to wandering the hearth (website), is an entry. The deeper one goes, the more the path winds: following the {REDACTED}, encountering Reflections and {REDACTED}, and discovering maps such as The Game of Reflections.
Unlike a trap, this Labyrinth is designed to lead seekers back to their own center. Its purpose is to return one self to one self — through play, presence, and wandering with intention.
The Anchor Sigil
The Anchor Sigil is the emblem of the newsletter Take This Seriously, But Not Too Seriously and stands as Modern Custodian’s declaration of authenticity. Where the Sacred Sigil holds all things tied to the Game of Reflections, the Anchor Sigil functions as the “tick” of the Custodian — a mark of truth, presence, and play.
It anchors communication in the real, the lived, and the sincere. To see the Anchor Sigil is to know: what follows is genuine, not performance.
