Most cultural awareness training gives people information.
Dabakarn Koorliny gives people space.
Space to slow down.
Space to reflect.
Space to have the conversations many workplaces are trying to have, but rarely know how to begin.
Grounded in Noongar ways of knowing, being and relating to Country, Dabakarn Koorliny is an immersive cultural experience designed to move people beyond scripted awareness and into genuine reflection, connection and custodianship.
This is not a lecture.
It’s not a performance.
And it’s not about “getting it right.”
Through storytelling, guided reflection, practical conversation and collective experience, participants are invited to explore how culture is created — not through policies alone, but through everyday behaviours, relationships and decisions.
Some organisations use Dabakarn Koorliny with leadership teams.
Others bring entire teams together on Country.
Either way, the intention remains the same:
to slow things down enough for people to actually notice themselves, each other, and the culture they are helping create.
Because culture isn’t something we talk about once a year.
It’s something we practice.
