Advisory engagement
Welcome, Two Way Street.
This page is your home base for the next three months. Everything you need to reach Rhys, book time with us, track the scope of works and find shared files lives here.
Scope of works
Over the three months, this engagement will focus on:
Building connection and common language across the whole team first, giving people permission to be curious, ask questions and let go of the fear of getting it wrong
Exploring communication beyond words, including Aboriginal ways of communicating, and the parallels with the work Two Way Street already does
Working through the broader considerations for inclusive resource design, such as representation, symbols and how meaning is laid out
More targeted conversations with the project team on the Visual Kits for Conversations, starting with the home medication review and leaving school kits
Finding honest ways to acknowledge the limits of resources where they can't yet get everything right
Co-facilitating the broader team discussions with Janelle, so sessions feel like a shared conversation rather than a lecture
Not a rubber stamp: where local cultural authority or community involvement is needed, Rhys will say so and help you recognise who needs to be part of the conversation
What's included
Direct access to Rhys, calls and messages, whenever you need
Initial strategy call to set direction for the engagement
Online sessions: a whole-team session to build rapport and common language, followed by two targeted sessions with the project team
Review of project context, materials and draft resources, with feedback
To make every session count, bring the questions you most want to work through, and share context on the project and kits ahead of time
